Race Date: 6th December 2025
This Lanzarote running festival is held on the first weekend of December, so as usual it clashed with our own Percy Pud. Unlike Sheffield, Lanzarote’s average temperature in December is 21ºC.
There are Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10k options and this year we had two Striders taking part – Graham Goff in the Half and Jane Evans in the 10k.
Jane’s report was ‘It was a well organised, relaxed, well supported event. Perfect weather conditions. Not too hot or windy.’ Jane also reported that she and her family had good runs. Great to see Jane running 10k again after years of injury – well done.
Half marathon results:
First man was AHMED EL MAZOURY – 1:10:35, first lady was EMMA TAYLOR – 1:21:21.
