Distance: Super Trail 25 km
Elevation 650m / 2100ft

Feeling very unprepared for the race (recently lost my mojo), I dragged my sorry ass to Leeds to try and find my mojo again on the trails.

Various distances are on offer: Ultra Trail (51km), Super trail (25km), Challenge trail (16km) and Ultra trail relay. 

The course was fully marked and marshaled at key areas, GPX was provided and also a printed map. There was also a trail runner for each distance. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and the views stunning. 

The next day my legs knew about the elevation and lack of hill training didn’t help. Fingers crossed my mojo is back. 

The race was won by Ashely Buck, unaffiliated, in 01:56:12. The first female finisher was Angeline Dresser, of North Leeds Fell Runners, in 02:10:36.
