Race Date: Saturday 12th April 2025
Punk Panther Endurance Events host the Ripon Stinger each year. It’s an event with multiple distances on offer (50, 34 and 20 miles plus a half marathon) for those wanting a challenging, yet picturesque route in the North Yorkshire region. The route starts and finishes in Studley Roger, close to the historic city of Ripon. The race mainly follows the Ripon Rowel route, incorporating wooded valleys and historic sites such as Fountains Abbey and Studley Water gardens. It also takes in the tranquil River Skell’s Valley of the Seven Bridges with other great views alonh the way such as the beautiful St. Margaret’s Church and Hackfall woods.
The 20 mile race was won by Lukasz Chmielewski in 03:18:59. The first female finisher was Hannah Slevin in 03:50:31.
