Race Date: Sunday 19th October 2025
It’s best not to change the course the week before then give a tired bloke who was away for the weekend running up and down hills at the fell relays the job of trying to understand the new course and set the arrows pointing in the right direction.
Wholehearted apologies from me for everyone who I sent in the wrong direction. I had a great course along the river twice set out in my head. Unfortunately you were only supposed to go there once. Better late than never but the route is clear in my head for next time.
Anyway, hopefully people had a good time and run out. We raised £163.50 from the race and that will be donated to the group that does conservation work round Bradway.
Down to the nitty gritty. The new route was just over 8km of trail round Bradway. We had 55 runners, running in all directions round Bradway and the nearby woods but they all made it back safely having done their own version of the course. The first runner to cross the finish line was Annabelle Sibley of Rotherham Harriers in 40.53. The first male to cross the line was Anthony Whitehouse of Totley AC in 41.00
