Race Date: Friday 27th December 2024

A pretty flat, one lap 10k around the open lanes outside the village of Wheaton Aston in South Staffordshire. There was some water & mud on the tarmac but the weather was mild in comparison with the last two years. A nice woolly hat waited at the finish for all runners, my time arrived by text before I got back to the car, and race photos were free.

I was the only Strider amongst 411 finishers. Craig Pilsbury (unaffiliated) won the men’s race in a time of 33:44. The women’s race was won by Chloe Dooley of Vale Royal Athletic Club in a time of 36:27.
