Race Date: Sunday 12th April 2026
Run For All would have you believe that this course is flat but opinions differed with Sarah Koriba saying that for a flat 10k it felt very hilly and she struggled all through the race, finding it hard to maintain pace every time she hit any elevation. Hoping to run quicker than her Dewsbury time (44:09) it just didn’t go well on the day having nearly missed the baggage truck (the start is about a mile from the finish line) and only just having time for a wee and then little time to warm up. Getting into the right frame of mind before a race is vital with Sarah going onto say that despite the great atmosphere and loads of support it didn’t go well for her and she spent the whole race wanting to give up. Not a good place to be as it was also windy with the last kilometre, uphill and into the wind, proving to be the coup de gras.

Luke Clay, who set his pb of 39:12 here back in 2024, blamed his slower time on the wind and forgetting his gel with it being nothing to do with his lack of fitness.
