Race Date: Friday 27th March 2026

Race #1 of a chip-timed 5k series comprising of 3 fixtures spread across the year, with July & October’s races still to come. Fixtures take place on a Friday night at the Cycle Hub in Doncaster. The course is flat, fast and floodlit, and races are usually split into two waves.

Lucy Broom was the sole Strider among 159 runners who lined up for the Donfaster 5k. The men’s race was won by George O’Connor of University Of Sheffield Union Of Students in a time of 00:14:58. Lindsay Skinner of Off That Couch Fitness won the women’s race in a time of 00:16:41. Well done to Lucy on her third in category finish.
