Race Date: Sunday 15th March 2026
884 runners for an eventful Retford half marathon with new Strider, Leanne Muscroft, announcing herself on the Striders scene. Her debut Striders outing led to her finishing as second female, first in the FV 40 category and also breaking Caroline Brock’s FV40 half marathon record (Caroline has since retaken the record in last week’s Wilmslow half – this battle looks fun to watch). Excellent performance Leanne and welcome to the club. Kate Waddicor also picked up a 2nd place in the FV 65 category – well done Kate!
The male race was won by Samuel Roberts of Retford AC in 1.07.27 and the female race was won by Hannah Miller of Worksop Harriers in 1.20.59.
