Race Date: Sunday 12th April 2026
A disappointing 35 runners for the second instalment of the Steel City Trail 10 series. The old adage of use it or lose it could well apply to this series as there is a lot of effort behind the scenes in order to organise and arrange this series but some of the organisers are wondering why they bother when events get such a poor turn out.
Many thanks once again go to all the volunteers who gave up their time in order for the event to proceed. Also, many thanks to the 35 runners who made the effort to come along and part with their £2 entrance fee.
The male race winner was Sam Smith of Run Happy in 43.55. The female race winner was Laura Gapski of Ripley RC in 57.19
