Race Date: Saturday 14th February 2026
The Winter Half Tour of Bradwell is classed as a long, challenging fell course. There is no mass start – runners decide what time they want to get going. You just have to cross the start between 09:00 and 10:00. The route is approximately 17.5 miles (so not really a half!), taking in glorious views of the Peak District with 1080m of elevation. This year, with a cold, frosty start, the good weather route was implemented.
The race starts and ends at the sports pavillion in Bradwell. Anyone interested in reading about the route in more detail, can do so here: Race Description
The race was won by Huw Davies, of Mercia Fell Runners, in 02:17:40. The first female finisher was Kate Gibson, of Totely AC, in 02:43:17. There were 171 finishers in total.
