The club keeps up to date men’s records for 5km, 5 miles, 10km, 10 miles, half marathon, 20 miles, full marathon and 100km in various categories: senior men, men aged 40 plus, men aged 45 plus and so on, in 5 year increments.

We endeavour to make sure all records are recognised but with so many races and categories, sometimes performances do get missed. Similarly, records from the pre-internet days also occasionally come to light. If you know of any new records not listed or corrections please contact Louis Wood via the contact form.

Note: Historically, gun times, not chip times, were used for club records. Recognising that many races now have staggered starts, that women often start further back means many races set off in separate waves, chip times will be used for records from 2021 onwards. Where chip times are available, all records from 2009 to the present have been amended to chip times. All records pre-2009 and races without chip timing will remain as gun times. Chip times will be marked (C) after the time.

To be eligible as a club record, times must be run in a bona fide road race on a measured course, certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers (or equivalent for international races).
