Race Date: Sunday 11th October 2015
The Plusnet Yorkshire 10 Mile was new for 2015, and became one of the must-do events of the year. It formed part of the Yorkshire Marathon festival alongside the sell-out Yorkshire Marathon on Sunday 11th October.
Starting and finishing at the University of York, the route heads into the city centre and out into the Yorkshire countryside before returning for an electric finish at the university.
The race attracted 1598 runners, including 5 Striders. Well done to all 5 for your efforts. The race was won by Mike Burrett of Leeds City AC in 53.53. First woman home was Roslyn Holmes of Hyde Harriers in 1.03.58.
