Whilst the masses were running London, Stratford was hosting its own Half and Full Marathons
The Half Marathon is one lap – flat with hilly sections. Runners start in the town centre, run through the scenic outskirts of the town before arriving back at the finish line at the recreation ground near the centre of town. 2 laps for the Marathon.
Race winner was Alasdair Russel (Kendal AC) in 1:10:38, and First female was Kate Wright of (Stratford Upon Avon AC) in 1:23:40.
1838 runners completed the Half Marathon course including 3 Striders.
