Congratulations to Barry Gyte on claiming the Striders V60 Marathon club record.

The previous incumbent was David Parry who ran 3:37:37 back in 2011.

Barry took a whopping 21 minutes off that running 3:16:54 at the Mablethorpe Marathon on Sunday 5th October 2014.

A notable mention must go to David Birch, also V60 who ran 3:34:05 in the same race which would have also broke Dave Parry’s old record.
