A 7.76 mile (12.5 km) race on a full clockwise circuit of Carsington Water.  Mainly on cycle track, the course is flat in places but includes some moderate inclines.

The race was won by Ben Livesey of Lincolnshire Runner New Balance with a new course record of 44.42. The first female also set a new course record of 54.01, Sharon Johnstone of Wilmslow Running Club.

There were 223 runners, well done to David Perkins who came 21st. Full results are available on the race website.
