Race Date: Sunday 16th April 2017

Easter Sunday, 16th April 2017 dawned clear, dry and bright with perfect conditions for the eighth Helmsley 10K Challenge.  396 runners entered this year`s race with  Tom Charlton of Tyne Bridge Harriers coming in first in a time of 34 minutes 26 seconds.  First lady home was Becky Penty of York Knavesmire Harriers in a time of 40:12.  Becky is the current ladies record holder in this event in a time of 37:10. Stuart Jones was the lone Strider and bagged a nice looking mug for his efforts.
