Race Date: Sunday 26th August 2018
Billed as Sydney, Australia’s most popular community event, the Pub2Pub charity fun runs and festival takes place each year on the beaches of Dee Why and Newport, taking in breathtaking views along the beautiful peninsula.
With an 800m stretch of sand at the beginning and a couple of hills along the way, the 13km course follows the amazing coastline with spectacular views of more than a dozen beaches, finishing on Newport Beach at the festival hub.
1702 runners took on the 13km challenge, and the race was won by Jack Colreavy in 43:36. First lady was Reegan Ellis in 48:16. Richard Cook was, not surprisingly, the only Strider representative, completing the course in 01:06:39. Well done Richard!
