Tatton Yule Yomp 10k – December 10th 2023

Caroline Brock crossed the Pennines for a  bit of  pre-Christmas festive racing near to Knutsford.  The Yule Yomp is a single lap course which runs through and around Tatton Park, consisting of undulating terrain, trail, grass, tarmac and gravel with a final road 1K to the finish.   Conditions were described as “wet and muddy”.

More than 1,100 runners tackled the event with many, including Caroline, opting to compete in festive outfits.

Daniel Orr was a clear race winner, finishing two minutes clear of the rest of the field in 37.25

Sarah Murphy from Vale Royal won the woman’s race in eight place overall in 42.07, with Caroline a close second female in 10th place overall.
