Race Date: Wednesday 16th July 2025

A 7.3km (4.5 mile) race in the Peak District, featuring 305 metres (1001 ft) of elevation. The race starts at Bamford Recreation Ground and heads to the top of Win Hill and back, mostly on footpaths but with a road section at the beginning. A well marked and marshalled route suitable for both novices and experienced fell runners.

Four Striders were among 268 runners who lined up for the Bamford Carnival Fell Race. The men’s race was won by Andrew Heyes of Dark Peak Fell Runners in a time of 00:27:49. Emily Cowper-Coles, also of Dark Peak Fell Runners, won the women’s race in a time of 00:33:55. No category results were listed.
