There were 112 runners for this year’s Handsworth Hobble with Striders making up nearly 20% of the field so a really good turnout from us – well done everyone.
Big concern over the future of this race as there is a proposal to build 1700 new homes on the land that the Hobble runs on so we all took part in a protest photo opportunity beforehand. Let’s hope they don’t end up building on this wonderful piece of green space in Handsworth
The male race winner was Tom Saville of DPFR in 34.36. The female race winner was Chloe Potter of HHRC in 36.53.
