Race Date: Tuesday 13th May 2025

The annual Jack Bloor Races are held on the second Tuesday in May on Yorkshire’s iconic Ilkley Moor. These FRA-affiliated evening races comprise the classic senior fell race plus junior races. All monies raised supports the work of Jack’s Memorial Fund.

It’s a 5.2 mile race with 1148 feet of elevation. There were 187 runners for this year’s event. First claim Strider, Rob Davies returned to racing and gurning after a year off, albeit for his second claim club, Knaresborough Striders. However, there’s no escaping a results post and I’m sure he doesn’t want to always be outdone by his daughter, Harriet. Nice to see you back in action, Rob.

The male race winner was Sam Bentham of Ilkley Harriers in 38.31. The female race winner was Charlotte Rawstron of Skyrac AC in 46.48
