Looking a lot better than her husband, and less than 24 hours after getting married, Abbie Pearse not only managed to get the start line after a late night celebrating but took first place in the women’s race. A cracking run in the first race of the Limestone Series.
After his late night wedding celebrations, and still wearing his tie, it was good to see a slightly worse for wear Daniel Haworth of Matlock AC actually make it to the start line. Although not looking in the best of conditions, he still managed a credible 4th place in a time of 37 mins 58 secs. Congratulation to Dan and Abbie on their marriage.
