New in 2025, the Linacre Loop is a 6 mile self-guided trail race taking place in the stunning Derbyshire countryside between Chesterfield and the Peaks. Race HQ is Wadshelf Village Hall.

Tom Hughes was the sole Strider among 14 runners who lined up for the inaugural Linacre Loop, and he finished first in a time of 0:56:19, well done Tom. Kirstine Archer of Formula One Circuit Crew won the women’s race in a time of 01:17:14.
