Race Date: Thursday 26th June 2025
A local trail race in High Green, hosted by Valley Hill Runners. The route is roughly 5 miles of undulating trails through Thorncliffe Wood and the neighbouring woodlands. A prize giving with spot prizes and a splendid buffet awaits the finishers at the Pack Horse pub.
Fourteen Striders were among 126 runners who lined up for the Mad Dash. The men’s race was won by James Garner of Hillsborough & Rivelin RC in a time of 32:22. Chloe Potter (unaffiliated) won the women’s race in a time of 34:00. Well done to Darrel Porter who finished 1st MV40, 2nd male and 3rd overall, and to Sarah Moss and Andy Hinchliffe, both 1st in category.
