This year’s Salt Cellar race was held in perfect conditions (bar the midges) and this was reflected in some very quick times, with the top 8 all beating last year’s winning mark.
153 runners finished, led home by Michael Kenyon of Dronfield RC in 50:09.5 (the fastest time since 2019) and Amy Whelan (Buxton AC) in 1:03:25.2.
