We gathered to celebrate not just the spirit of running, but the incredible effort and community that makes events like Stan’s Toffee Run 2025 so memorable. Organized by the fantastic Kimberworth Striders, this race has become a highlight for our club and the local running scene.

For those who have experienced it, or are eagerly anticipating it, Stan’s Toffee Run offers a truly special challenge. It’s a beautifully sculpted course, approximately four miles of exhilarating road and trail, perfectly designed to test our mettle. We’re talking about those rewarding hill climbs that get the heart pumping, swiftly followed by fabulous descents that bring a smile to every face. It’s a testament to the Striders’ dedication that they craft such an engaging experience.

But the magic of Stan’s Toffee Run doesn’t end at the finish line. We all look forward to that amazing buffet afterwards – a well-deserved feast to refuel and share stories with fellow runners. Kimberworth Striders, you outdo yourselves year after year, fostering camaraderie and pushing us all to achieve our best. Here’s to another successful, challenging, and delicious run in 2026!

A good number of Striders turned out at Elsecar for this year’s Stan’s Toffee Run, which was a very hot and humid affair. The winner was Andrew Hamblen (unattached) in 23:05, and first woman was Hannah Miller (Worksop Harriers & AC).
