Race Date: Saturday 23rd August 2025 and Sunday 24th August 2025
This event was comprised of the Decathlon and Heptathlon over the two days, the Northern Masters AC Grand Prix on Saturday and the Rising Stars event, designed for young athletes, on Sunday together with some open events on the Sunday.
Kate Scott was a busy lass combining competing and officiating as a qualified track judge managing a seasons best in the 800m on Saturday. Louis Wood, competing after 15 hours of travel the previous day, had a pb in the 5000m on Sunday although, perhaps as this distance is rarely run at open meetings, this was actually the first time that he has raced this far on the track. Seth Kirby was acting as pacemaker for one of the women in Mike Theobald’s Thursday track group.
